Serpente is the ever popular "snake" pattern. This look has been a staple in interior design and made popular during the Art Deco and Art Nouveau period of design. The dimensional look comes from Optima's very sophisticated process of taking a pure aniline hide, splitting it and skillfully applying the pattern with a Paliette paper. This provides a very subtle pattern caused by juxtaposition of suede vs. pattern.
